107 degrees to an adult is dreadful. To a child its an opportunity to fill a bucket with water and enjoy it with a friend. I looked outside my window and saw the heads of Elijah and Eve bobbing around. What a glorious life I've been given!
Wow, we've been hovering at around 107 degrees out here as well. We've been between 98 and 110 every day for a long time now. Opening car doors is painful, and can lead to nasty burns. Hold hot steering wheels aren't very fun either.
However, I love hot weather, and will gladly take sweating over being cold any day. :-)
In my little area of Texas (DFW area) it's been 111-112 degrees or higher each day. It's just awful! The other night I walked out the door to take the trash to the road and there seemed to be no air at all. I mean it felt like I couldn't breathe at all outside. Talk about weird!
Thank God for air conditioning. :-)
The good thing about this heat is since I dry our clothes outside, they dry in a matter of 30 minutes or less. :-)

okay... Just checked the thermometer. We were 107 on Saturday. Right at this moment, we're a cool 103. :-?
ReplyDeleteand I am hating 96! 81 as I type. It is just so hard to breathe or do anything. Glad they are making wonderful memories no matter the temp. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is soooo adorable.
ReplyDeleteI think I need a bucket :)
