O.K. so I am way behind......nobody reads this anyway!

So Christmas was all we could have expected it to be and more. Full of great gifts, broken heaters and busted pipes. Did I mention broken heaters. BRRRR!!

Other than that life has been as usuall around here. We are taking a 2 week break from school! Which is probably more for me than the kids. Isnt it funny, when kids are in public school parents dread school breaks, but when you homeschool you live for them.

The stray dog that found us 2 months ago is going to the pound today...we gave him ample time to shape up and it hasnt happened. Luckily the kids are so tired of picking up his messes that they arent so torn up about his departure as I thought they would be. I think the dog has successfully eaten all the Christmas ornaments from 1/3 of the tree down. And anything else that is not put up. And apparently our floor is much moor appealing to use the bathroom on than the great outdoors.

Good By...Farewell!!

Wow I must be mellowing out!

As I was bathing the younger two boys last night, my older boys were down stairs decorating the tree. Now I did not know this was going on, and was told it was a surprise as I walked into the room.
Now for a little back ground on myself. Everything must be proportionat, symetrical, color cordinated and everything that stands for anal. So on any normal day this would have tiped me over the edge. I would have secretly gotten up in the middle of the night as I was awoken from my nightmare of the tree attacking me in my sleep, and rearranged it so that my equal libriam could come back into a normal range.
But instead I saw there cute little faces and saw how proud they were. I told them what a beautiful job they had done and I actually slept very well that night.

Its begining to look alot like Christmas

So I spent most of my day yesterday putting up christmas decorations. I put up 2 trees, one in the foyer and one in the dinning room.
I wrapped our 30 foot colums in the front of our house with garland, that was fun considering it was raining, and I am afraid of heights.
I also for the first time have lights on my house, and yes I did that to. I have had brand new lights in boxes for about 4 years, have always had a house to put them on but the hubby always had an excuse as to why I wasnt getting lights that year.
The excuse this year was that there were no outlets on the outside of our house. Well you cant tell me that that gapping hole under the bedroom door wouldnt fit a cord through it. And yes that was 30 feet up as well. Luckily we have a wrap around balcany and I could just dangle off the side.
CPS would love that considering I am 4 months pregnant. So I can cross that off my list of things I want to accompish before I die. (Yay lights)

My boys in the bluebonnets this past summer. If you look real close you will notice that E. in the green shirt at the bottom is asleep. Apparently it was all to boring and he had better things to do. I applaud parents who can get all children to look, smiling at the camera at one time without funny faces or nose picking or sleeping going on. This was probably the 20th picture I had taken. Posted by Hello

This is one of my favorite pictures! Posted by Hello

Back to my old cleaning self again.

Well I am feeling so much better here lately that I find myself cleaning more and more every day. I slacked so much for about a month that it is taking alot to get caught up. I question why I wanted such a big house. That means there is just more to clean! So I got to the laundry room the downstairs bathroom the fouyer and vacumed all the floors downstairs, and the kitchen. Rob will be so happy, two days of coming home to a clean kitchen. And I think the boys actually did clean there rooms today...that we'll need a picture of. I still have 4 month of bank statements to enter into Quicken. I have been working on them for a week now, hope to have that finished soon.

Its been raining all day here....blah....but the boys did go outside for a little while. Sanity!!

My Introduction Post

Hi there well this is my attempt at keeping everyone informed on what is going on in our busy household. We have currently 5 little boys ages 9 and under. Actually my oldest turned 9 today. We have one on the way due June 1st 05. I homeschool them and hope to continue to do so. We live in Greenville TX. in a 100 + year old Colonial home that we hope not to still be remodeling when we are gray. I have been married for 9 years to my lovely husband Rob
Oh that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Duet 5:29
