Ever feel like a freak show??

I am so tired of everyones snide remarks about my family size....ohhhh a woppin 6! I have heard it all but I thought I would share this new one with you from yesterday. I was in the county tax office disputing my HUGE increase in property taxes. I had all my boys with me and they were behaving perfectly. I was being stared at like I was a freak show and apparently people think that pregnancy causes deafness and not stretch-marks, because they were all whispering as if I couldnt hear them. You would think all these country bum-kins around here would think that my family size is small, but apparently not. So I am leaving the office after I finished pleading my case, and as I was leaving an older lady behind the desk (which the older ladies always have nice things to say, so I was caught off guard) says "so you have 2 sets of twins?" I replied nicely "no, no twins" and she says " well, you like children more than I do!" can you believe that comment. Then as I was telling my husband last night when he got home what she said, he told me that at work that day he was talking with one of the guys about there families and mentioned he had 6 children, the guy didn't freak out or make any snide comments, but later on that day another one of the guys came up to Rob and handed him a business card to a urologists office, and said here I heard you have 6 kids, so I figured you needed this. My husband is management, do they not fear ticking him off and losing there jobs? What ever happened to minding your own business? What ever happened to manners and respect for others? So my come back to that lovely little old rude lady is this," Yes I like children much more than I do most adults!!"
