Catching up

It has been a week of catching up. The boys and I will finish putting up the wood pickets on the fence today. We have about 50 feet left! YAY! We bought the lot next to our home and needed to then move the fence out and around it. Rob worked on digging up and resetting the posts all weekend and we will finish the pickets and get these dogs back outside where they belong. The yard is very large now, plenty of room for all to play!

Rob had his review on Monday ;-) He did wonderful and received a very good raise, I never thought we would be in this income bracket. He was also told that he will get a $700.00 bonus if he passes his test, which we have about 4-6 more weeks of waiting on that. The good thing is that Rob was reasured that if he doesnt pass any certain section he can go back and take it and will still get the bonus upon passing. His job is secure as well, no matter what the outcome.
Praise the Lord!

I seem to be completely healed....thank goodness! Well I need to get moving.

Sorry I did not have the chance to comment last week.

I am glad you are feeling better! Nothing worse than when Mama is sick!

Yay for Rob's review! Now he can relax and not worry about his job. God always works everything out!

Okay, my hands are freezing. Our ac went out last week and it got fixed this morning. I think I thawed out while it was out. :)

Different topic: you do school year round correct? Can I ask why? Benefits? Weeks on verse wks off? You may have touched this topic already and just lead me to the post to read. Otherwise, answer when you have time. I know you are busy just trying to see the way others do homeschool vs our way this year.

Thanks,
Letisha

Oh that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Duet 5:29
