You ladies are so sweet!

My hubby called me today to let me know that he reads my blog and it is his way of staying connected to what is going on around here and with me. I don't want to take that away from him. So I am going to take a break for a while, regroup, rejuvenate. Perhaps I will change things up a bit, to focus on hubby and let him into our days more.

I have been going through things here, emotional stuff, that I need to work through. A feeling of "the world would be a better place if I weren't in it" type of feeling. I know this is a lie from the father of lies, and I am digging deep into scripture to defeat that lie. I am not one to fall into depression, it is not like me. But dispair seems to be a shadow following a few steps behind me.

I don't want to take y'all on that journey with me. Nor do you deserve to go ;-) I really appreciate how sweet you ladies are, and care for you deeply. Isn't it sad that the people to uplift in time of need are those I have never met. I do thank you so much for caring!

So I am off to take a break for a while, to focus on my kiddos and my home. Perhaps even myself. Just to simply be for a time.

Someone asked about the store, it is still open....but I will not be taking any orders until August 1st.

Hey hun! Please do also take time for myself. We seem to forget to do that as mothers! I am not sure what happened with you making some dresses for my daughter, if it was miscommunication or what but I never heard back from you but i am sure I will try and place another order in the future and I will keep your button up on my blog. Hugs to you hun

Audrey,
I wanted to let you know that I just found your blog last Friday (I think)or maybe over the weekend? But I linked to it through the MOMYS digest. I read your 1st post about how you were done blogging, and I kept reading. Well I don't even know you, it was the 1st time ever to your blog, and I felt so inspired by your writings. You had said you did not have anything to offer that *I* couldn't get from another blog etc, and as I read I kept thinking how wrong you were! LOL I browsed and read through about 10 pages out of fear that the next time I checked on your blog it could be gone. I will pray for you and ask God to protect you. I've been in ruts before, and they stink! But do as your doing, keep in HIS word, and he will deliver you!

Blessings,
Christy

Whew! (Elise breathes a sigh of relief and says, "Thank you, Rob!") :D
We will be waiting patiently for your return - I hope and pray that God teaches you much in this time, and that you truly get to rejuvenate and re-focus.

Audrey you are not alone, I am praying for you, I understand everything you posted and my heart aches for you. Do you think it could be a bit of postpartum? just a thought. You have alot on your plate and it is alot to deal with, the caohos of it all. Take time to breath and "Let God" take over if you can. Easier said then done i know. I pray for gods perfect JOY for you and hope you will do the same for me!

Please email or call should you ever need to, just to listen, to share or cry. I am here if I can help :-)

Hugs~

Oh.... thank you Rob! I think it is so sweet when husbands read the blog and look forward to it. I wish Daniel had access to reading our blog while away from home.

Please know that you are in my prayers at this time. May God strengthen you and direct you! Email me if you need to talk... or anyway I can help you!
