Another Birthday

Its birthday Season around here. Two weeks ago Eve turned 3. Yesterday it was Jordans turn to become another year older (11 to be exact) and two weeks from now we will have another to celebrate.

During these two months it becomes all to clear to me how quickly time goes by. I wish I could say I have used all these years wisely, but I have missed the mark on many occasions.

Every day is a new day, a new beginning. Another chance to sit and read to them, to have silly conversations, to talk about the wonders of our Creator and His Creation. Every day is a gift!

I have the best job in the world. There is no other occupation more rewarding than being a mother. Its not just a dish washer, laundry folder, floor sweeping job. Its a boo boo kissing, heart shaping, big squishy hugs job. Talk about employee benefits.......eternal benefits!

The summer months, esp. June and July are always seeming to buzz with birthday and anniversaries, so I noticed! :)

Any plans to celebrate the upcoming birthday in 2 weeks? Will you bake a cake or buy one?
Gifts?
Balloons?
Streamers?
Gotta have ice cream!!! :)

My birthday is July 18th. And for once I am soooo looking forward to celebrating it. :)

I hope you have a good weekend and Sabbath!

Hey, we had a bday about 3 weeks ago (2yo), one yesterday (14 yo), and one in 3 weeks (4yo). I never realized before how they were all so close. It feels like a break to us after spring (1 in late January, 2 in Feb, 3 in March and an anniversary in March). We then get a whole month before the April bday and another month until this little summer season. Fall only brings us 2 bdays. I guess we need to work on filling those months next. ;-)

Our family birthdays all fall in the first part of the year. We had a party for the newly 3 yo today and the last one for the year is in 6 weeks. It can get overwhelming. We have tried having small get togethers or special date nights with the birthday kid to make them feel special.

so true. good reminder. Whenever I fill out something and it asks for my employment I always want to put God/Daniel as my employer. Salary? Priceless. Payment is worth more than gold! The best job ever.

Happy Birthday to everyone. How many are in the two digits now?

Oh that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Duet 5:29
