Thank Goodness its Monday!

I made it through the weekend....barely. I guess it wasnt so bad. I handled myself pretty well on the outside, but still struggling on the inside. There were many situations that she (my mother) pushed buttons, but I tried to just shrug it off. Only 12 more days to go!! She is working "right now" so I have all day to find rest and peace.

We kept ourselves busy this weekend with sheet rocking, texturing and painting. It is starting to look really good. The color I picked for the dinning room seems a bit bold, but its growing on me. Once I buy the material for the drapes and get them sewn and put up it will tie it all together.

I feel like this day will drag on forever, its 8:45am yet it seems like it should be 10 by now. I guess I should enjoy the extra time in my day!!

Everyone have a great week!

Pictures of the weekend

Eve loves shoes!

The boys on the trampoline...yes, there is no net and they can jump with more than just one at a time. LOL

If you look closely you will see even more evidence of my Willy Nilly parenting style...yep one at the top and one on his way up. If we lived on a deserted island tree climbing for food would not be an issue.

Jordan is such a great big brother!

It amazes me how girls automatically LOVE shoes! What a cute picture esp since they are your shoes!
What sweet brotherly love. It is such a joy to watch the older boys with youger sister(s) knowing they will learn from this on how to protect their future wives.
Um,is that tree strong enough to hold them? I guess so,but sure does not look like it! Glad you had a great weekend. What room are you sheetrocking and making curtains for? You might of said and I missed it.

Ya, it looks pretty thin, but they have been climbing it for a few years now with no problems. They really are monkeys at heart. There is a commercial out about chicken (Tyson I think) and the boy is hiding in the hallway from his dad by walking with his hands and feet up a wall, so that he is hovering above his dad. They make it look like he has super powers from eating the chicken, but the funny thing is that my boys do that. I laugh when I watch it...and think if only they knew.

We completed the sheetrock in the dinning room and now have moved on to the laundry room! YAY. Our laundry room had horrible water damage and falling sheetrock....so this is going to be such a huge improvement.

SINCE JORDAN IS OLDER SHE GETS TO GO OUT INTO THE PASTURE AND CLIMB TREES--BUT LITTLE MISS RILEY IS LIMITED. SHE WAS IN THE CEDAR TREE TODAY. ONLY PROBLEM-IT WAS WARM ENOUGH TO HAVE SHORTS AND SHORT SLEEVE AND IT POKED HER ALL OVER--SHE DID NOT EVEN NOTICE UNTIL LATER BUT I KNEW. MY GIRLS AND MY NEPHEWS ALWAYS HAD A FACINATION WITH SHOES. RILEY HAS A FLIP FLOP COLLECTION. WE DONT HAVE A NET AROUND OUR TRAMPOLINE EITHER BUT IT IS GETTING OLD AND WORE A LITTLE AND WE WATCH TO MUCH FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS--SO I LIMIT ONE PERSON JUMPING AT A TIME THIS PAST SUMMER. I FORSEE A NEW ONE IN THE NEAR FUTURE. LOL

Oh that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Duet 5:29
