Kindness in the fabric store
I decided that I needed to go to JoAnns today. I love that store and could just walk around for hours, touching and gazing at all the lovely fabrics. The boys needless to say HATE going to JoAnns. In fact I would guess that they would much rather stay home and clean their room. So with all that to look forward to Rob and I loaded up the truck and drove the 45 minutes it takes to get there. I of course walked every isle and the boys loathed every isle. As we were checking out at the register an older lady said "I am so glad I got to see y'all today, what I bunch of good kiddos you have" I thought about her comment as we drove that long drive home. She was happy she got to see us.......? What does that mean? That means that we have the opportunity to bless others just by our presence. That was really big to me. As much grief as I get from others in my life regarding my families size....including complete strangers.....it is so uplifting to hear such kind words. That lovely old lady whom I met for only a minute....is a source of kindness that will keep me running this race.

That was so encouraging! How sweet of her. It does amaze me too when I realize that small moments at places do make notices as an example to others.
Oh I wish we had fabric stores close to us. WE lost our JoAnn about 2 or 3 years ago. Now our Hancocks is closing soon as well. I think the last clearnance sale was this past week. Plus, Wal-Mart is getting rid of their fabric departments. Bummer, where will I shop for fabric?

Rob told me he saw a Hancocks on his way to work that was going out of business. I wonder why they are all closing, maybe there are not enough people sewing anymore....those ladies are to busy with their careers to sew, I guess. Luckily the Joanns in Mesquite will probably stay for a long time. That store is always full of ladies...and my 6 guys LOL
Happy Easter from Venezuela.
That is very encouraging! Your children must have been well behaved, even though they loathed being there - that is so great! A great lesson for them to learn in life.
