I thought I would come over here to answer your question. A while back I think I commented on your blog, it may have been before I had my own blog, ANYWAY...I am the one who makes my own patterns. I often will find a jumper that I like, and either trace the pattern or make my own. I do alterations with darts and often I get fantastic results. As for the nursing/maternity jumper that I want to make, I will either put buttons on the side of the dress or make a panel with nursing opening(s) underneath.

I have some Elizabeth Lee patterns, but I haven't used mine either. I don't always get the desired results with a pattern that I have to buy, I always end up altering it anyway. And since I am mostly straight up and down (not to many curves), I have to make things that emphasize my hips and chest(modestly, of course) and make my waist look smaller. Everything that I make is modest and feminine, but as an artist I have to make it my own. (Just like my blog.) I don't follow templates to well. (O;

If I ever get the camera from my husband, I will take pictures of my dresses and post them. I have made six nursing dresses that work well and a two piece outfit that buttons up the front for nursing.

Have a great day!
Blessings!

Hi there I would love to put your button on my blog but I cannot for the life of me figure out how!! And I am thinking of placing a order for my daughter for the Forth of July, can you do matching dresses?

Tiffany if you will email me at audrey@sewingtheseamsoflove.com I will send you the html text.

I wish I could figure out those scroll boxes, so that I could put the code on my blog, but I cant, sigh.

And yes I can make them matching if you like. I am trying to get the different fabric cordinates I have available in patriotic themes up on my website but my site builder is being persnickity.
