My finished drapes

I finally took pictures of the drapes I sewed last weekend. I made matching ones for both the living and dinning rooms. My goal here is to have the two rooms somewhat blend together as you walk through from one to the other.

Living room

Dinning Room

I still need to sew a center section in the dinning room, a piece that will only come down about 2 feet. They were out of my material, so I have to wait until they get more in.

I also have my wall of babies put back up. The wall color was supposed to be a bit more orangish but it turned out a little pinker than I had anticipated. ;-)

It is coming together nicely!

Do you have high ceilings? That window looks huge! I love the shorter curtain in the middle. Looks like you did a beautiful job! I have "material" just hanging on the curtain rod in my green room. Oh I planned to make "curtains" four years ago! Yikes, such a procrastinator when it comes to sewing!

Oh I think I am going to buy some frames and copy your baby wall. How fun for visitors to pick out which baby pictures is who.

Yes we have very high ceilings. A handy ladder is a must in this house.

The baby wall has always been so much fun for us! I love looking back at how little they were. We had a leak down the wall a while back (from the kids overflowing the sink in the bathroom upstairs) and some of the pictures got a little water damage. I am trying to figure out how to restore them.

Oh that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Duet 5:29
