Thanks Kyle!

Grab a box of tiisue and watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azgBhZfcqaQ
I have never been a big carseat person, my 3 and 1 year old are the only ones that are in car seats. The rest just use regualer seat belts. I have to say this has changed my mind.

Boy dial up is so slow..... I finally got to watch all of it! How sad!!! I am one for carseats but my oldest at forty lbs went into a booster with shoulder strap. Caleb can be in a shoulder strap but I have kept him in the 5pt harness until 40lbs. I have heard they should stay in 5pt harness till 80lbs. Also, it is safer to keep rear facing as long as the carseat weight limit (Mine is until 35lbs) usually they say 20lbs or a year older okay to turn forward facing!

Oh that poor girl! Every picture she is so happy except for when she is older. She looks mad and sad! The pain she must feel and sadness. I know the pain of losing a brother, but she is a child who saw it personally. My nephew was 3yo when my brother died and it impacted him. What a difference salvation makes and knowing we will see our loved one in Heaven!

My biggest problem with carseats is that my oldest (11) only weighs about 60 lbs. He will probably not hit 80 lbs until he turns 13/14. Can you imagine a 14 year old in a 5 point harness. LOL

All of my kiddos are shrimp boats and will probably be taking their driving tests in carseats.

I agree, I notice how hurt the little girl looked as well, such a thing to have to go through...I cant imagine!

Now I just need to find a way to purchase six $250.00 car seats. hahaha

Thanks Smiley, you just erased my previous letter! How? I have no clue. Children are computer experts and not even know it.

Anyway, as I was saying. I understand wanting to protect our children in the car. My state law was children had to be in a carseat restraint and front passenger buckle up. Back seat no law unless carseat. Recently the law was changed for all passengers to be buckled and children in carseat restraints until 12 years old and/or 80 lbs. My nephews are 12 and 14 would have to be put in a booster for being under the weight limit. Yeah right says a 9th grader!

What is your state law?

Oh that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Duet 5:29
