Its "D" Day

I am doing fine over here. Sense I started drinking the Raspberry tea daily, I no longer feel as though delivery is immanent...in fact I feel like I could be pregnant forever. LOL No more contractions and I'm not really uncomfortable so the journey continues.

My estimated due date at the beginning (I was nursing still, so no period to go off of, just going off of positive pregnancy test result date) was no later than Feb 10th. So I figure any time in the next 12 days. Honestly I could use a few extra days to finish up a couple of things. ;-)

Rob and Devon went to the Mavericks game last night. They had a blast! I was going to go but our sitter fell through. I'm glad that they got to spend some time together.

Today I plan to finish up 4 dresses and list them in the store, as well as get the school work for next week ready. I have a bit of laundry to put away, and that concludes my to-do list.

Have a lovely Sunday!

Shucks! Your title deceived me. I thought you were saying "It's the day" in a funny way. Actually you are just saying it is due date day!

Still praying for ya!

Really? No period between nursing and pregnancy? Okay, you must explain. What made you test? How old was Eve when you tested positive?

Glad Rob and Devon had a good man and father basketball outing together.

Sorry for the confusion. Its my Tickers Due date, apparently not Avas ;-)

Ya I dont have periods while nursing and apparently hit that first ovulation right on the money, before it could become a period. My norm is that I will nurse for about 10 months (the boys always weaned themselves at about that time) then have one period then I'm pregnant. But this time around with Eve nursing longer than the boys, I guess my body just kicked in at about 11 months and v-wa-la I was prego. She weaned herself at about 13 months. One day I went to nurse her and she just snubbed me and that was the end for her...I was so upset LOL

I have been faithfully pregnant as each baby turns 11 or 12 months old. Seems to be my bodies comfort zone.

Oh, my. I thought you meant this was the day, too!
Okay, I'll keep praying. Every extra minute you have will be a blessing - more work done, or more rest received! :)

Two of my children were 10 & 12 days "late". It was quite challenging waiting for them to come, but I was constantly reminded that it's not "OUR" timing but God's perfect timing. He is in control of the situation and He knows exactly what He's doing.

Sometimes it can be more difficult when the baby arrives 2 1/2 weeks early, I know when my fifth arrived that early I wasn't at all prepared.

The red raspberry tea will help your uterus to work more effectively when your are actually in "real" labor. Also evening primrose oil and alfalfa will actually raise your hormone level that stimulates the labor. (Alfalfa also helps with bleeding during labor, when I used it with my last baby I didn't have any bleeding until I delivered the placenta.)

Hang in there! God is faithful!
I'll keep you in prayer!

Thanks, you answered my next question without knowing. How long did Eve nurse! I too nursed my daughter longer than my boys.

Well I am always late... let's see 6, 10,9 so I never expect anything near the due date!

Hope it is soon. You have a lot of prayer warriors out there for ya!

Oh that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Duet 5:29
